Yup, we inherited a very cool Singer sewing machine fromĀ my Gran and before I could let my girl have a go of it I decided to try stitching a patch. Its non a bad attempt for a first go. I experimented on my favorite Gi with the Combat Base patch off Haueter!
I’m not a Gi collector or anything, more of a patch whore and firmly of the philosophy that a Gi should be run into the ground and never discarded. I love a tatty gi which Is why I am not overly worried about the patch being a little squif (wonky) and hopefully with a bit more practice, I will be churning them out sweatshop style.
Who knows, maybe this broke BJJ player can make a quid on the side if anyone wants my services.

Disclaimer – The model is my girlfriend, she is not a purple belt. Thats mine. I just don’t stock white belts. Yet.

That’s one old school sewing machine!
